Recipients of the prestigious AKC Breeder-Owner-Handler Silver Medallion Award from the American Kennel Club in January 2008.For over thirty years we have worked to develop a nationally recognized bloodline. We have bred and /or owned more than fifty American Kennel Club champions. Our years of experience and knowledge have produced correct representatives of the breed standard. We were the recipients of the prestigious AKC Breeder-Owner-Handler Silver Medallion Award from the American Kennel Club in January 2008.

Recipients of the prestigious AKC Breeder-Owner-Handler Silver Medallion Award from the American Kennel Club in January 2008.LEGIBACH Dachshunds have achieved numerous honors including three Westminster Kennel Club Best of Varieties (owner handled), two Dachshund Club of America Variety wins, Winners Dog and Winners Bitch, Best in Specialty shows, group placements and an all-breed Best In Show awards. In 1991, Ch Luvadox Rose Parade SS became the #1 Smooth Dachshund, and Gina was honored as the top owner-handler by The Dachshund Club of America. A champion was exported to India where he became a top producer and most recently, a young hopeful was exported to a new home in South Africa and is now a group placing South African Champion.

Our breeding is purposely limited, assuring each puppy receives the nurturing attention it needs and the properly structured start it requires. This enjoyable activity we share, has many rewards including numerous lifelong friendships with people from all walks of life.

Producing sound pet quality puppies is every bit as important to us as the show prospects. Standard size smooth and wirehaired varieties are occasionally available to those who are serious about owning a dachshund.
